You sighed as you walked through the park, your Espeon guiding you by telepathy. Some people would bump into you and blame you. You couldn't defend yourself and it wasn't your fault, you were blind. But you were used to it because you couldn't see anything since you were born.
You cursed under your breath when you bumped into someone else again. "I'm sorry," you said nonchalantly.
"No, I'm sorry. I'm the one who bumped into you," you heard a male voice say.
Your eyes widened. This was the first time someone aplogised to you.
"Wow! I've never seen such a beautiful sight in front of me before," the teen smiled at you.
Your eyes opened wider with surprise. No one had ever called you beautiful before except for your father. You still remembered the day when he explained to you what that word meant.
Flashback:
It wasn't easy for you when you were young to accept that you can't see at all for the rest of your life. You thought it was normal, but it wasn't. Kids would call you ugly to make you frustrated because you will never know how you really look like. When you were home, you would often hear your father call your mother beautiful. You didn't know what it meant, but your mother was always happier after your father called her that. One day, after your mother passed away, you asked your father.
"Daddy? What does 'beautiful' mean?" You tilted your head in curiousity.
Your father laughed before he picked you up and placed you on his lap.
"That is an interesting question, sweetie. It's hard to explain but I'm sure you'll undertsand because you're a very smart girl." He ruffled your (colour) hair. "But why do you want to know?" he asked.
"Because Mommy was always happier when you called her that," you said.
"True." Your father chuckled. "Well then, 'beautiful' is a word that many girls want to be called by their lover."
"Is it like a compliment?"
"That's right. It's the opposite of 'ugly'. Many men call girls beautiful only because of their good looks. Bu do you know what true beauty is?"
You shook your little head and leaned closer so you could hear him better.
"It's not what's on the outside, but in the inside," he said as he touched your chest where your heart is. "Someone who is truly beautiful is someone who has a good personnality. For me, the good looks is just a bonus."
"Am I beautiful, daddy?" you asked innocently.
Your father chuckled again and hugged you closer. "Your mother will kill me if she hears me. But, you are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen or known. Not only your beautiful in the inside, but you sould know that you are also beautiful on the outside. And one day, a man other than me will call you beautiful and that means he will become the love of your life." He kissed your forehead as you giggled.
"Thank you daddy. You're beautiful too." You smiled at him.
"Well, 'handsome' would be the word to say to a man." He chuckled.
End of Flashback:
"Are you okay? You look surprised," the boy who bumped into you asked.
"Do I?" You blinked a few times, hoping you look normal by now.
"D-Did I say something wrong?" He blushed a little.
"No. Not at all." You chuckled. "Do you really think I'm beautiful?" you asked.
"I really do. If you don't believe me, then why don't you look at yourself. Here, I have a mirror," he said as he handed it to you.
You scratched the back of your head. "To be honest, I'll never know how I really look like. I can't see."
The boy looked flustered and immediately aplogised. "I'm so sorry! I didn't know you were blind."
You chuckled. "It's okay."
"I'm Ruby by the way."
"My name is (y/n)." You smiled.
"Even your name sounds beautiful."
You giggled and felt your cheeks getting hot. Somehow, you knew he was the one for you. "Thanks. No one has ever called me beautiful before except for my father."
"Well, I'm the expert in beauty. I can tell when someone's beautiful from the outside or inside."
"And what do you think about me then?"
"I think you're beautiful from both sides." He leaned closer.
You blushed a little when you felt him getting closer. "My father once told me that the man who will call me beautiful other than him will become the love of my life."
"And do you believe him?" he whispered in your ear.
You nodded but didn't say anything. He cupped your cheek with one hand.
"Well, I do too," he said before he closed his eyes and pressed his lips against yours.
Your eyes widened but closed them as you kissed him back. He wrapped an arm around your waist while you snaked yours around his neck. Although it was your first kiss, you could tell he was a goos kisser. His lips were smooth like silk and soft like velvet. You touched his forehead lightly with your fingers. You suddenly felt a faint scar and you decided to caress it. The more he kissed you, the more he wanted you. He never met a girl like you and you never met a guy like him. You both pulled apart for the need of air.
"I know we only just met, but I've never felt this way before. You understand the true beauty like no other girls, and I think I'm in love with you," he said as he kissed your forehead.
"My father had taught me what true beauty meant. And I didn't know someone will love me even though I'm blind." You smiled at him.
"I'll make sure everyone knows that you are the most beautiful girl ever. And you'll be even more beautiful because you are now mine," he said as he pulled you in another passionate kiss.
Your father was right. You were both meant for each other. And you couldn't ask for a better life.

Pokemon Smih--Ruby
A ruby-colored pokeball! I looked at Ruby who grinned at me. Silver pushed the two of us into the closet and locked it. I could see his eyes so perfectly in the dark but because we’re in a right space, I hugged Ruby immediately.
Ruby’s arms went around me. “(Name), what’s wrong?” He asked, worried about me.
I blushed crimson red. “Ruby, I-I don’t like t-tight spaces. I’m scared.” I whimpered.
Ruby rubbed his cheek against mine. We both blushed beet red. “Shh...It’s okay, (Name). I won’t let anything or anyone hurt you. I love you.” His kissed my lips softly.

It's gotten chillier outside, as the two of you had spent nearly two hours just chatting away. The sun has been down for a while now, so you opt for a lamplit walk in the park. It's sometimes hard for you to tell, but you're at least able to deduce whether or not the sun is out from the blurred outlines that fill your limited vision.

Ruby X Reader: Broken Heart? Part 2
~Your pov~
A simple but yet depressing two years have passed since that dreaded region. My heart still ached with the thought of leaving Ruby but at the same time, I knew it was for the best. I just wished that me and Ruby could have kept our promise when we were little.
Flashback to the age 7~~
"Ruby!!" I yelled and tightly hugged my best friend.
"(Name)!!" He yelled back and hugged me too.
We smiled at each other, blushed, and looked away. Ruby took my hand and walked me to his house. Everywhere on the walls were dresses and clothes that Ruby drew.
"Wow, so cool!!" I said, looking around. One picture caught my mind. It had my name and
