Silver X Reader: A Second Chance - Part 6 (final)

Your POV:

I gulp and I think my heart skipped a beat when I'm just in front of the door of Silver's room.

I don't know why but I hesitate on knocking. What if Silver doesn't remember me? I mean, Celebi told me that he does, but it was just a dream. I don't know the truth yet.

I let out a deep breath before I knock on the door.

I don't hear an answer. I knock again, harder.

Still nothing.

I open the door slowly and pop my head out.

My eyes open wide and my jaws drop when I see the back of a teen with long red hair that come down to his shoulders. The sight of him isn't the only reason why I'm speechless. I just realise that he's actually shirtless! I've never seen him shirtless before. I feel my cheeks getting hot. I didn't know he had abs.

“Silver...?”

He turns his head slowly, and I see his eyes widen once he saw me. He comes closer towards me, without saying a word. My heart beats faster and I feel like I can't breathe anymore. I don't move. Not because I can't, but because I don't want to.

We're now a couple of inches apart, and I see his silver eyes, scanning me. They are sharp like the metal, but soft like the colour. Before I can say anything else, he cups both my cheeks with his hands and presses his lips against mine.

My eyes are wide open. I can't believe this is happening! I've been waiting for this moment since my entire life! His lips are so soft and warm. Not what I was expecting though. Even though it's my first kiss, I can tell that he's a good kisser.

After a few seconds, I close my eyes and kiss him back. I wrap my arms around his neck while he slides his hands from my cheeks to my waist. He kisses me harder with more passion and pulls me against his body. I had forgotten for a second that my body is pressed against his bare skin, which makes me blush.

After a couple of minutes, I break the kiss for the need of air and we both pant. I put my hand on his chest and look in his eyes. I can hear is heart beating as fast as mine.

He finally talks, his warm breath brushing my lips. “I've been wanting to do this since a very long time.” His voice, so deep, soothing and seductive. “I love you (y/n). I feel so stupid for not telling you sooner.”

I blush and my cheeks get hotter. Hearing these words coming from his mouth is just... unbelievable. “I love you too.” I beam at him. And I can see a faint blush spreading on Silver's face. It's so cute. “I've never thought you loved me until... you sacrificed your life for me,” I say in a lower voice.

Suddenly, everything turns blurry. Am I crying?

“Don't cry,” he coos in my hear softly. “It's okay now. I'm here.” He wipes my tears with his thumbs and gives me a quick kiss. “By the way, thank you.” He smiles at me. I've never seen such a genuine smile on his face. And I was right, he's cuter and more handsome when he smiles.

“For what?” I ask.

“For giving me a second chance, idiot.” He chuckles. “I know your the one who made the wish.”

“Hey, I'm not an idiot.” I fake frown and pout and stuck my tongue out.

“But your my idiot.” He smirks. He then gives me a quick peck on my nose. I've never seen this side of him before. And I guess I'm the only who gets to see it. I feel lucky.

“We should go and take breakfast,” I say.

“I thought you wanted me for breakfast.” He raises an eyebrow and smirks. I think I just discovered a new shade of blush.

I then hear the sound of a dying Wailord coming from my stomach. He chuckles while I blush of embarrassment.

“Fine, let's go.”

I stop in front of the door and I turn around to look at him.

“What is it?” he asks, raising an eyebrow.

“P-Put a shirt on,” I say nervously.

He scratches the back of his head. I giggle at his cute action. “Oh yeah, I forgot.” He then dashes to his closet and puts on a black T-shirt.

“Sorry, it's just that I'm not used to... seeing you like that. I mean... shirtless.” I blush even more. I think I look like a tomato by now.

“Ah, but don't worry. You'll get used to it eventually.” He winks.
