"Arceus dammit! Why? Why is it so hard? I can't even express my own feelings for someone in a damm peice of paper!"

Another peaceful day in the Johto region. Our favourite redhead, Silver, was leaning against a tree in his garden outside of his mansion, trying to write a letter. To who? To you of course. What kind? A lover letter.

Yes, the stubborn hot-headed redhead was in love with you. He didn't use to believe in the feeling of love. But since he got to know you, every day, his feelings for you would grow stronger. Of course, he would treat you like trash because he was frustrated. He knew too well you would never feel the same way for him. After two years of rivalry, and another two years of fragile friendship, he decided to finally confess to you by writing a love letter to you. So he won't see your reaction when you'll read.

After many tries and wasting a lot paper, in which he didn't care, he finally finished the letter. He read it once again to see if they were any mistakes. He jumped when he heard your voice.

"What's that?" you asked with a raised eyebrow.

"For Arceus' sake! Stop doing that!" he growled at you.

"I'm sorry," you said sarcastically.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"I want to battle," you said with a smirk.

"I'm busy," he grunted.

You crossed your arms and puffed your cheeks. "Seriously!" you snapped which made him flinch. "You always want to battle me at the worst moments and I don't have a choice! So if I want to battle you, we're going to battle and that's that!"

Silver got up and glared at you. "Fine!" he spat at you. "You asked for this!" He gritted his teeth as you both went to a battle field and walked to an end.

"We're going to do a three-on-three battle. If two of your pokemon faint, you lose. And you can't switch," you explained the rules.

"How come you decide?" he shouted angrily.

"Because I'm the challenger!"

"Fine! Then I'll decide what happens if you lose." He smirked.

"If I do," you said cockily. "But if I win, then you have to let me read what's written on that peice of (favourite colour) paper."

Silver blushed a little. "Deal!"

You both took out your first pokeball and called your pokemon out. The battle started.

"Glaceon! Use Double Team!" you shouted.

The Fresh Snow Pokemon dupilacted itself and surrounded Silver's Alakazam.

'I have to use a different strategy if i want to win this,' Silver thought. "Use Calm Mind and concentrate yourself until you find the real one!"

Alakazam closed his eyes and tried to focus.

"Ain't gonna happen." You smirked. "Use Shadow Ball!"

Glaceon and the duplicates all launched a shadow ball towards the still focused Psy Pokemon. Just before the real one hit him, Alakazam disappeared and reappeared in mid air. You weren't really surprised although you didn't see that coming.

"Thought that I wasn't gonna get away?" He raised an eyebrow. "Think again you little pest!"

"This is just the beginning." You smirked.

"Use Psybeam!"

"Use Ice beam!"

As you both sent your commands, two different types of beams were launched towards each other. They were both powerful, but one was slightly stonger than the other. You both coughed as the beams clashed and made some sort of an explosion. Both of you waited impatiently to see if your pokemon survived the hit. As the field went clearer, your eyes widened as you saw Alakazam lying on the ground while your Glaceon was still standing up but it was just about.

"Looks like I won this round," you said with a sly smirk as you returned your Glaceon and thanked her.

Silver mumbled something under his breath as he returned his Alakazam and thanked him. The next round was as tough as the first one, but Silver won the second round after your Staraptor got badly poisoned by his Crobat. It was now a tie, and only one more round before the battle is over. You both smirked as you called out your pokemon.

It was Typhlosion versus Meganium. Arceus knew how many times you two had battled the last round with your starter. You remembered your first battle with him, when it was Cindaquil versus Chikorita.

"You're not gonna win this time!" he growled. "Use Sunny Day!"

Typhlosion let out a loud growl as the sun started to shine brighter than ever, powering up all his already powerful fire-type moves. Another sly smirk curved your lips and you sighed.

"You're so stupid." You laughed at him. Red eyes widened. "Meganium! Use Solar Beam!"

The Herb Pokemon absorbed light from the sun a lot fatser than usual and gathered a lot more too. In a few seconds, the powerful light beam was launched towards the Volcano Pokemon.

"Use Flamethrower to counter the attack!" Silver gritted his teeth in irritation.

As the two moves colided, both pokemon got badly hurt. But surprisingly, Typhlosion had taken most of the damage. The two pokemon continued fighting by using powerful moves. It looked like neither of them was ready to give up. Suddenly, Silver had enough.

"Typhlosion! Use Blast Burn!"

Your eyes widened. You both knew how dangerous it can be to use such a powerful move. The Volcano Pokemon punched the ground, sending a wave of energy into the earth.

"Meganium! Use Frenzy Plant!" you screeched.

The Herb Pokemon's body became outlined in green as it slamed its front two legs into the ground. Giant roots with spikes on them came out and charged toward the opponent. As the two powerful moves colided, both pokemon let out a loud growl before the field wa covered in smoke. You and Silver both coughed as the smoke slowly blew away. Two pairs of eyes widened as you saw both of your pokemon, lied down on the ground. You couldn't belive it. This meant that, it was a tie.

"No way..." Silver widened his eyes.

"Does that mean  that... We both won?" you asked.

"I guess..." He shrugged.

You then smirked as you approached your rival. "Let me see it," you said as you tried to take the letter.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?!" he exclaimed.

You frowned at him. "I want to see the letter."

"That wasn't part of the deal!" he growled.

"We both won." You crossed your arms.

Silver smirked and raised an eyebrow as he realised. "You mean, you'll do what I say because I also won?"

"I'll do only one thing." You glared at him.

Before he could add anything else, you snatched the letter from him and started reading it. He blushed and covered his face with his hands. Your (colour) eyes widened as you read the letter. You didn't expect his handwriting would be beautiful. You blushed too and you couldn't believe. You looked back at him, his face still covered.

You slowly took his hands away, and stared at him. You didn't notice until now how mesmerizing his red eyes were. You slowly leaned closer and closed your eyes. Silver widened his eyes as he felt a pair of soft and warm lips brushing against his. He then closed them and kissed you back. You smirked as you snaked your arms around his neck while he wrapped his around your waist. He then kissed you harder as he pulled you closer. You then both pulled apart for the need of air.

"Wow!  That was... Sudden," he said.

"Is that how you really felt for the past two years?" you asked.

He just nodded.

"So what was the thing you wanted me to do?"

He scratched the back of his head. "I was actually going to tell you to kiss me."

"I don't mind kissing you again." You smirked.
